6/8/21 workday

1st job:

First job of the day I get a call from a customer in regards to their ice maker not working…. I go in and I take apart the ice receiving box, it is clogged with ice, I remove the ice, collect my fee and I am gone.

Very simple job.

2nd job:

This job I received from a customer in regards to her dryer making a burning smell as well as not powering on all the time, this is an older model roughly 15 years old.

Anyways as you can see from the photos there is a ton of lint build up, this is a fire hazard, essential what has been happening is that when she has been running the dryer it has been burning inside while the dryer is running, you can see the black spots inside the dryer, those are burn marks…

Anyways all this lint had to be cleaned up….

The lint also got caught inside the blower wheel and had hardened, which was stopping it from rolling freely, if the blower wheel cannot move, the motor will not operate, and cannot deliver power to the machine.

I had to disassemble twice in order to figure out the blower wheel was at fault because when I put it back together the first time it wouldn’t start after we had vacuumed all the lint from inside the dryer base.

Anyways I clean out the blower wheel, case closed….

3rd job:

This job was a call in regards to a Samsung twin cooling refrigerator not cooling and a complaint of ice build up….

Anyways the panel to the evaporator coil inside was frozen completely to the wall, that only means one thing!

Time for a new defrost heater~
