1st job:
This call was in regards to a Samsung Front Load Washer.
The issue was that the washing machine wasn’t draining, I ran it into diagnostic mode to make 100% sure that the drain would not kick in to eliminate the probability of this being a board issue.
Anyways the set up on this washing machine was not an easy set up to deal with as a single man operation, so I had to walk away from this job, had the set up been more feasible this would have been an easy job….
2nd job:
This job was in regards to a kenmore dishwasher (made by GE) not draining….
I checked the pump and the sump for clogs, and I found nothing, so I have had a new pump ordered for this machine,….
3rd job:
This job was in regards to a kenmore dishwasher (made by whirlpool) not heating up or draining…. I tried to run a diagnostic cycle, the board would not kick into the diagnostic cycle whatsoever but the dishwasher did manage to drain.
Pretty much this dishwasher is stopping mid cycle before it can complete the dishwasher cycle, the fact that the dishwasher would not kick into a diagnostic cycle indicates to me that this is a board issue…
I quoted the customer a new board and heater, she chose to replace instead of repair….
4th job:
This job was in regards to a GE Front Load Washer. The complaint is that the washer will not drain, I ran a test cycle, I notice the water did drain but very very slowly, not only that the washer would stay in drain mode even if I turned the power off
Not only that when I was in the diagnostic cycle the drain came on even when I did not put in the request for it to turn on….
This could be a multi part failure, I quoted the customer a new main board, a new pressure sensor, and a new board to be on the safe side…
She is going to speak with her husband….
