5/24/21 workday
1st Job:
I went back to a previous customers house in regards to their oven and washing machine, for the oven the broiler and gas valve needed to be tested, however the rusted screws prevented removal of the compartment enclosing the broiler and gas valve, I tried to drill it off with a drill bit and drill extractor to no avail.
The washing machine as having an issue where it was only dispensing cold water on the rinse cycle, I checked for voltage across the cold water and the hot water valve, both received 120 volts at various test points. This indicated a malfunctioning temperature selector, which was discontinue for this model so a new machine has to be bought.
2nd job:
Got a call in regards to a garbage disposal not running, I tried to manually wind the motor and the blades to see if anything was stuck, the motor is completely dead, time for replacement.
3rd job:
Received a call in regards to a whirlpool refrigerator with a freezer on top, I pull back the evaporator cover and see bare coils, the compressor was running, classic case of a sealed system issue. Customer was going to check if under warranty with whirlpool as this kind of repair is about roughly the cost of a new refrigerator,
